Black River Nurse Consulting provides Scripture-centered Biblical Counseling, faith-informed nursing consultation, breastfeeding education, and supportive services for females. By accessing this website, scheduling services, submitting information, participating in counseling, or receiving consultation services, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.
1. Services Provided
Black River Nurse Consulting provides services exclusively for females, including: Scripture-centered Biblical Counseling for women, teen girls, and girls; breastfeeding education and lactation support for mothers; faith-informed nursing consultation and education; supportive guidance related to women, children, and family care. Educational and consultative services. All services are provided within the scope of education, consultation, and Registered Nursing practice. Services are intended to encourage, equip, and support females through biblical truth, practical education, and compassionate care. Services provided by Black River Nurse Consulting do not replace medical care, licensed mental health therapy, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services.
2. Biblical Counseling (ACBC Training)
Biblical Counseling through Black River Nurse Consulting is Christ-centered, Scripture-based, and provided exclusively for females. The purpose of Biblical Counseling is to help counselees understand their lives and struggles through the truth of God’s Word and to encourage growth in faith, repentance, obedience, and Christlikeness through the hope of the gospel. Biblical Counseling seeks to: Help counselees know and apply the truth of Scripture; encourage spiritual growth and maturity in Christ; identify heart responses, thoughts, desires, emotions, and actions in light of Scripture; offer biblical hope, encouragement, correction, and practical application of God’s Word. Participation in Biblical Counseling is voluntary. Counselees agree to actively participate in the counseling process and acknowledge that Scripture is the final authority for faith and life. Biblical Counseling is distinct from secular psychotherapy, licensed mental health therapy, psychological evaluation, psychiatric care, or medical treatment. Biblical Counseling does not provide mental health diagnoses, psychological testing, or clinical treatment. As part of the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC) certification requirements, counseling sessions may be audio-recorded with written consent for supervision, evaluation, and training purposes. Recordings are used only for ACBC certification requirements and are handled with appropriate confidentiality. Confidentiality is respected within Biblical Counseling, with limited exceptions including: Requirements of applicable law; Safety concerns involving potential harm; Mandatory reporting obligations; ACBC supervision and certification requirements
3. No Medical Treatment or Provider–Patient Relationship
Services provided by Black River Nurse Consulting are educational and consultative in nature and do not constitute medical diagnosis, treatment, prescribing, or clinical management. Participation in Biblical Counseling, breastfeeding education, nursing consultation, or other supportive services does not establish a nurse–patient, provider–patient, therapist–client, or medical relationship. Females receiving services are encouraged to maintain appropriate care with licensed healthcare professionals for medical, psychological, psychiatric, or other healthcare needs. In the event of a medical or mental health emergency, call 911 or seek immediate emergency assistance.
4. Donations, Payment & Refund Policy
Biblical Counseling provided through Black River Nurse Consulting during ACBC certification training is offered through a donation-based model. Donations are appreciated but not required to receive Biblical Counseling services. Counseling availability is not dependent upon the amount or receipt of a donation. Donations help support ongoing training, resources, and the continued ability to provide Scripture-centered Biblical Counseling. Payment terms for other services provided by Black River Nurse Consulting will be communicated prior to scheduling. Refunds are generally not available for services that have already been provided. Black River Nurse Consulting reserves the right to modify services, policies, availability, and fees at any time.
5. Intellectual Property
All website content, including written materials, graphics, logos, educational resources, and downloadable materials, is the property of Black River Nurse Consulting. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, modification, or use of these materials is prohibited without written permission.
6. Limitation of Liability
By using this website or participating in services, you acknowledge that Black River Nurse Consulting provides educational, supportive, and consultative services. You are responsible for personal decisions and actions taken based upon information received through Biblical Counseling, nursing consultation, breastfeeding education, or other resources. Black River Nurse Consulting is not responsible for damages resulting from the use or application of information provided through these services.
7. Participant Conduct
Participants agree to communicate respectfully and appropriately. Black River Nurse Consulting reserves the right to decline, pause, or discontinue services if behavior becomes threatening, abusive, unsafe, or inconsistent with the maintenance of a respectful counseling and consultation environment.
8. Privacy & Confidentiality
Black River Nurse Consulting respects personal information and seeks to maintain appropriate confidentiality and safeguards. Electronic communication, including email, may not be completely secure. Females receiving services may request alternative communication methods when available. Information may be disclosed only when required by law, necessary due to safety concerns, required by mandatory reporting obligations, or necessary for ACBC supervisory requirements. Records are retained only as long as necessary to provide services and fulfill legal, professional, and training obligations.
9. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin.
